State Fair

The Texas State Fair is in full swing! Yesterday I was one of the judges for the annual Cheese Contest. There are four categories of entries: soups and appetizers, entrees, cheese desserts and cheese cakes. I judged cheese desserts. It was a delicious morning tasting cheese flans, cheese tortes, cheese desserts of all kinds and flavors. It was difficult to select just one winner, but we did.

Texas Treats annual holiday preview and luncheon is next week: Tuesday, October 6 and Wednesday, October 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We'd love for you to stop by.
